New to the bay in 2022, is Fraser Coast's very own Olympic Weightlifting Club registered with the Queensland Weightlifting Association, and taking sessions out of CrossFit Hervey Bay.
FCW aims to provide its athletes with the key learnings of the fundamental movements of Olympic Weightlifting. The sport is inclusive of all ages and body weights from youth to masters athletes, is fun, challenging and has major health benefits.
Whether you are new to the sport, a competition weightlifter or just looking for some fitness, FCW has a variety of options available to suit everyone from one on one and group sessions to online programming and competition coaching!
FCW offers one on one and small group personal weightlifting coaching, weekly weightlifting group sessions at CrossFit Hervey Bay and online programming using the Train Heroic app.
FCW also offers personal training tailored to specific weight loss, strength and fitness goals available by appointment.

Fraser Coast Weightlifting is led by Head Coach Tina Cotter who has spent the past 10+ years in the fitness industry from, Personal Training, to training, competing and coaching in her love of CrossFit and as a Masters Weightlifting competitor at a State and National level.
At the heart of my core values is the notion of always being open to learn new things and use that knowledge to help others to strive to be the best they can be! Building a community of people that share the same values of determination, work ethic and respect for others is my vision for this club and should be at the forefront of this sport.

Introduced for the first time in Term 2, is the Teens Olympic Weightlifting Program, currently operating on a Tuesday and Thursday after school 3:40 - 4:30pm.
A small group based training session for 13-17 year olds, that learns the fundamental movements of Olympic Weightlifting that also assist with the development of speed, power, strength and coordination. Suitable for teens looking to compliment their other sports such as football and athletics or to move into the QWA youth lifters competitive field. Ideal for teens that are not interested in team sports!
